Information About Our Hire Process

Ahead of taking out one of our short-term hires, please review the information below:

Pre Rental
  • All hirers intending to drive the vehicle must provide a copy of their plastic driver’s licence and information of any penalty points. 
    • The link to the information to evidence information of any penalty points can be found here on the DVLA website.
    • We require you to select the option ‘view your driving licence information’ and take a screenshot or print this out to bring in with you. Please note this check can only be done 21 days prior to hire for insurance purposes.   
  • A £100 cash deposit must be left prior to hiring the vehicle.
  • A check-out sheet must be reviewed and signed by the hirer prior to driving the vehicle. Please ensure you agree with the content of this sheet as once signed this is final. 

During Rental
  • All hire prices have mileage included (as outlined on our rates table). Any mileage outside of this is charged at 12p per mile (inclusive of VAT).
  • Your insurance is fully comprehensive with an excess of £600 (inclusive of VAT). 
  • If you experience any difficulties during you hire, please contact 01620 825678. This number is covered 24/7 for emergency support. 
  • There is a strict no pets or smoking in any of our vehicles. There will be a cleaning charge if this is found to have been breached. 

Post Rental


  • You must ensure that the fuel level is as marked on the check-out sheet. If not, there will be an excess fuel charged. 
    • Inside the fuel flap there is a sticker indicating if the vehicle is petrol/diesel.
  • If you are returning the vehicle outside of business hours, then hirers can leave the key in the secure keysafe. Hirers should then return at a convenient time, during office hours, to finish the check-in process.
